Finals, flags and a very wet prize-giving on the harbour wall. Results and photos are on the club noticeboard, and the next event is already on the calendar.
Registration opened at eight, and by nine the beach was packed with riders, families and a few very patient dogs.

We tried this at our local spot last weekend and it worked a treat.
Spring is usually quieter, go for it.
Any tips for doing this on a smaller board?

Agreed, that one catches a lot of people out.
On a smaller board it is the same idea, just be patient on the lulls.
