Slowed down so you can see where the head goes and when the back hand sheets in. Flat water makes learning faster. We spent the morning on the lagoon side where the chop never builds.
Most attempts ended in the same crash, which is good news: it means the fix is a single change rather than five.
Small sails and small boards made the rotations easier. The group swapped kit between runs to feel the difference.
