Foil Pumping Drill: Connecting Swells Without Wind

3

A dockstart drill that turns lulls into free rides between gusts. Wing size is only half the story. Board volume decides how easily you get up on the foil in the lulls.

Pumping efficiently comes from the legs, not the arms. The best riders barely move the wing between swells.

On the downwinder, the support boat kept a steady distance and gave everyone the confidence to link bumps far offshore.

Any tips for doing this on a smaller board?

I would add one thing: always check the forecast twice on the day.
